new blog

Things have changed ALOT since the last time I blogged on here! We are moved now. NOT in West Plains, Mo. though it is Houston, Mo. We bought our own place and we love it. Has a ready made garden with asparagus, rhubarb, blackberry, boysenberry, maidenberry and some other berry I can't remember. Pear, apple and peach trees. Rose garden in the front with tulips and easter lillies already blooming. Have a green house with our tomato plants in there getting established. I LOVE IT!!! All kinds of outbuildings. What is really nice is we are right in the middle of everyone. We are 45 min. away from West plains and about an hour away from Mt. Home , springfield, rolla and several other friends and churches we can visit. Awesome. Yes, I'm excited...jumping for joy and everything else I can remember!! As soon as I remember how , I will add some pictures ...talk to you guys later! Cheryl

Poor Puppy!

Thanks for asking about my little lost puppy! He was found the next morning but he was dead. He had meandered over to our lagoon and fell in. Being blind he couldn't find his way out. The girls and I searched for over an hour all around the lagoon and elsewear the night before. It was sad.
James found out yesterday that he didn't get the job for West Plains. Mo-dot in West Plains is hiring right now so he put his application in for that. So maybe he will get that job. Just keep us in your prayers.
Went in to Rolla today to visit Sis. Linda. They had just brought her out of recovery after they done the biopsy. She was VERY groggy still and slept pretty much the whole time we were there. Keep her in your prayers for strength, I know the Lord will move in a mighty way.

This here thingy that Amber is holding is a HUGE mushroom that James found in the woods. It's called a Hen of the woods. It was really hard to clean and eat. It's not MY favorite mushroom to eat but it will do in a pinch.

Had some fellowship at Ravens house tonight had a really good time. The soup was awesome. Them there girls can cook now. Susan had potato soup and Carrie mad some chicken cheesy chilli or something like that. Itt was sure yummy, I ate until I could have popped.

Came home around 9 or 10 and had to start searching for my little lost puppy. It's blind. So hopefully someone came along and picked it up and took it home with them. I hate to think that it's lost in the woods and dies. So sad. Well one of these days I might learn how to really write about my day. So far it's not interesting like everyone elses. Maybe I can get in here and use it like a journal and one of these days it will get interesting. HA!

I'm on this here Blogger site ...taking the plung and trying it out. It DOES seem easier. I tried to do a blogg on 360 BUT it didn't take..as usual. I just LOVE 360 though. I wished it would work for me and everyone else. Oh, well some day it will work!

So far putting pictures on here is alot easier..i do have to work out all the kinks but so far so good!.

The last 3 weeks has been somewhat nerve wracking. My husband James had an interview and we have been waiting THAT long to here back . Tommorrow they (his work) have a meeting and I believe he will here back after that . The waiting to hear is killing me. If he gets the job we would be moving to West Plains . That way we would be closer to his mom and dad , who are in the nursing home, and my mom and dad. Which would be great!!! I have been waiting 20 years to be able to decorate my OWN house. The possibilities seem endless. I have NEVER been able to decorate my own house because we always lived in conservation houses or rent houses were I couldn't change the decor.
